On July 15, UBEREATS delivered thousands of ice cream bars across Los Angeles. After, users were invited to request a ride to a secret #UBERIceCream Social event featuring performances by BURNS, Just Blaze, Casey Veggies, and installation artwork by The Art of Chase and Mister Cartoon.

Back in 2009, I participated in Hello Kitty’s 35th Birthday Art Show in Culver City; the 18 paintings I contributed sold out within 30 minutes. These new small pieces were originally part of a handful of works that didn’t make it into the show and remained unfinished until recently, but I finally got around to it. 🤑

This rare goodie of a public payphone is gone now. Even three years ago when I painted it, stumbling across a payphone in the wild that still had the full deluxe combo of phone, flagpole, housing, phone-book cover AND an old-school Yellow Pages inside, was almost unheard of. I figured that by infusing it with some love, I might help stall the removal of this little time machine that carried us back to simpler days; but the inevitable happened, and now it’s gone. I know there’s a graveyard for retired Vegas casino signage, but does anyone know where payphones are laid to rest? 🧐📞💀
