They currently have $4.4 billion of assets under management. The mural I painted at their offices incorporates company mantra as well as some of the IP they own; from 3/4 of Dr. Dre’s music catalog to the film ‘The Sixth Sense.’
A little tribute to the Belgian surrealist Magritte’s painting ‘The Treachery of Images.’ Painted in 1929, ‘Ceci n’est pas une pipe’ translates to ‘this is not a pipe,’ causing much confusion in the viewer. Magritte’s point was that it was not a pipe, it was a PAINTING of a pipe, and that you definitely should not light it and smoke it. What a rascal.
